The estimates were provided by officials from Minnesota, Connecticut, the Reading, Pa., school district, and the Ottawa, Ill., district, and posted online recently by the Center on 91ÖÆƬ³§ÊÓƵ Policy, a Washington-based think tank. The collection of estimates also includes a summary of the National 91ÖÆƬ³§ÊÓƵ Association’s lawsuit against the U.S. Department of 91ÖÆƬ³§ÊÓƵ alleging that it has imposed unfunded mandates on states and school districts through the federal education law.
